STRICTLY Come Dancing fans can’t get enough of new professional dancer Kai Widdrington thanks to his killer moves and sizzling on-screen chemistry with celebrity partner AJ Odudu.
The duo have sparked romance rumours ever since AJ nearly kissed Kai in a recent routine.
On the dance floor, the pair have been impressing judges with their incredible moves.
But viewers at home may be unaware that success runs in the family for 26-year-old Kai, whose dad is famous footballer Tommy Widdrington.
The proud dad, who played in the English Football League, has been showing support for newcomer Kai on the show.
On last Saturday’s episode, the sportsman could be seen smiling in the audience after Kai and Aj performed their upbeat and impressive Charleston routine.
The former football star played for Southampton from 1990 before joining Grimsby town in 1996. He went on to play for Port Vale, Hartlepool United and Macclesfield Town before ending his playing career at Salisbury City.
The player impressively made over 372 appearances over 15 years and after he hung up his boots focused on managing sides such as Salisbury City, Southend United, Hemel Hempstead Town as well as Eastbourne Borough.

The 50-year-old is currently the director of Bristol Rovers.
Kai almost followed in his dad’s footsteps when he was offered a Premier League contract at just 12 years old.
However, the Strictly pro turned it down to pursue dancing, which led to him being the Junior World Latin American Champion.
Kai and AJ have set tongues wagging with their sizzling chemistry on the dancefloor and Kai was even heard saying “I love you” after their sensational movie week dance.
AJ has also gone on to meet Kai’s mum in what some have speculated as a further sign. the pair’s feelings are equally strong off-camera.
In a chat with the Daily Star, AJ said of meeting his family: “I met Kai’s mum and had a conversation with her on FaceTime, then I met his brother and I’ve met his sister. I’m so excited.
“Honestly, Kai has got such a lovely family. I’ve met them all now. Meeting the parents!”
However, the dancing pair are keeping coy on their alleged romance despite plenty of speculation from viewers at home.
