STRICTLY Come Dancing have signed up handsome dancer Kai Widdrington to appear on this year’s series.
Kai, 24, recently moved to the UK from Ireland, where he appears on Dancing With The Stars, after being recruited by the BBC.

Insiders tell The Sun Online that Kai won’t get a celebrity partner this year – instead, he’ll take part in group dances at the start of the show.
“There are more female than male pro dancers this year, so Kai has been lined up to even up the numbers and take part in the big numbers at the start of the show,” says the source.
“He’s fitting in well – he knows a lot of the show’s cast already – and has been in rehearsals all week.”
As The Sun has previously reported, the show’s pro dancers are locked in a ‘bubble’ together as part of coronavirus precautions, to enable them to dance together on the show.

So Kai, who has been dating Italian Dancing With The Stars professional Giulia Dotta since 2016, has moved in with pal Giovanni Pernice in South West London – with Giovanni posting a photo of the pair working out together at the local running track.
Kai, who is originally from Eastleigh on the South Coast, has appeared on Britain’s Got Talent twice – once in 2012, then again in 2014 with Latin dance group Kings And Queens.

Alongside Neil and Katya Jones, the group made it to the semi-final in series 6 – eventually won by singers Collabro.
Two years earlier, Kai made the final with dance partner Natalia Jeved, only to be beaten by winners Ashleigh and Pudsey.

Kai joined Ireland’s Dancing With The Stars in 2017, finishing second in the competition twice – most recently with Miss Universe Ireland Grainne Gallanagh.
His dad is former Premier League footballer Tommy Widdrington, and Kai’s younger brother Theo has played for Portsmouth and Bristol Rovers.
